Funny videos and 6 reasons to buy our Mother’s Day Gift

Sometimes I just get carried away watching funny videos at night. Here are a couple I found that really amused me.

Now..on to more serious topics.

With Mother’s Day coming up, I just wanted to again mention our special Mother’s Day bundle. Here’s why it’s so great:

  1. I created it myself
  2. It’s enough for two, so mom and dad or grandmother and grandfather can both have the meal
  3. It’s easy to heat up and even easier to clean up
  4. the meals are awesome -chicken and cheese and spinach in puff pastry, creamy lemon risotto, and a crispy vegetable medley.
  5. Dessert is 6 gourmet cupcakes. These are truly gourmet, probably the best cupcakes I’ve ever eaten.
  6. There are SIX cupcakes. Mom won’t be able to eat them all!

So You Think You Can Dance?

As I get a little older,  I am more inspired by all the seniors who are making their lives unique, interesting and delightful. This lady, Dorothy Kloss, take that to a whole other level.

So how do I tie this into a blog about Good question!  My intent here is to show what a good life we can all have by eating right, exercising and having a great outlook.

We’re all getting excited here about the new menu that’s coming out early next month. More healthy meals are making their way onto the website and into your freezers.

I don’t want to give away the new products just yet, but think tender meats, fresh seafood, and comforting breakfast dishes. Then picture tantalizing pastas and toothsome desserts. That’s what we’re looking forward to!

Now, let’s all get out there and dance!  It doesn’t have to be dancing, but walk, swim, whack a tennis ball, play some basketball, do whatever your body can do that you enjoy.  Studies show that regular exercise, as little as walking briskly for 30 minutes a day, can make a huge difference in your overall health.

Twelve most Commonly asked Questions

I asked Greg what were the most common questions he got, and for some clarification on them. Here’s what he had to say. I’ll just post the answers, the questions are self-evident.

  • We ship to all 50 states and we have not found somewhere we cannot deliver.
  • We use both UPS and Fed Ex for delivery
  • We guarantee product to arrive frozen to your door and also that whoever receives the product will enjoy the meals or we will replace the meals or refund the cost.

Ok, now I have to interject with a story. Greg told me, ” One lady said that she knew the order had been delivered to her farmhouse as the box was on the step
but there was nothing inside.  It turns out that an elk had come to the doorstep and opened the box, taken the cooler and eaten the food in the trees near the house.  She knew because of the elk  droppings.  We shipped the customer the order again no charge due to the extraordinary situation.”

This elk was so happy to eat the food! haahahahhhaaa…

  • All of our products are frozen
  • Our product ships from Kansas City and takes 1-3 days for delivery.
  • We only ship within the US due to shipping delays for international shipments and also due to foreign food importation laws.
  • Substitutions can be made on meal bundles.  To do so just call the toll free number and the customer service staff will make any changes you need due to special diets, items you prefer not to receive, etc.
  • Meal programs are where the coordination of the meal ordering is left to  We can choose items for you or you can advise how and when you want orders sent to you.  Also we do not have contracts and you can start and stop at any time.  Meal programs are implemented for free. There is no minimum or maximum order.
  • Our meals are flash frozen for maximum freshness, flavor and food value.  We suggest you use the meals within 30-45 days of receipt but they can be easily stored for 6 months if need be.
  • People in Canada and Mexico are asking us for innovative ways to get our products delivered to them.  The only way we know to get product into these other countries due to shipping delays and importation requirements in the foreign countries, is to have someone in the US receive the product for you and then have the person wanting the product to come and get the product from that person in the US.
  • We have received orders from the following countries:
meal programs with billing to Australia, England, Belgium, Cayman Islands, Gift orders from Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, New Zealand, France, Germany, England, Caledonia, Australia, Spain, Bahamas!
  • We have had inquiries to export our products to Canada, Russia, Mexico, England and various European Countries, as well as Australia!

I feel I need to share some of our customer testimonials.  People enjoy the meals for so many different reasons.

I do want to tell you, my friend’s wife has been pretty ill lately.  They have a young daughter.  This man is someone who always sees the glass as half full, the beauty in a sunrise, the good things in life, but a little over a month ago, he was kind of broken down.  We placed an order, and the food arrived, and he immediately perked up!  He said that it has really helped, on days when he is too tired from work, or his wife is having a bad day.  Just to know that this important part of the family day was taken care of – I think it meant a lot to him.

So please, keep up the good work.

I have been ordering these meals for my Dad. He lives alone and I am concerned that he is not eating properly. He agreed to try these meals and thankfully, he is enjoying them!! He is getting better nourishment and I am sleeping better at night thanks to Magic Kitchen’s delicious meals. They are delivered timely and safely and I couldn’t be more satisfied!
Thank you!!!!!!!
~Norah E.

This is my third order from Magic Kitchen and we have been very happy with the food. Although we started ordering because of the diabetic meal plans for my mom, our whole family found other items we know will be regularly ordered items, including the uncooked prime-rib roast. Your meal delivery is the best!
~Teresa D.

The MagicKitchen became “Grandmother’s Kitchen” following the birth of my grandchild. My son,a full time grad student, and his wife are vegetarians. Because I was unable to travel, I turned to the MagicKitchen who was able to meet their dietary needs. The new parents were delighted with their biweekly shipments delivered to their door. They reported the dishes were just like “Grandma’s Kitchen” …. now that really is a Magic Kitchen!
~Charlotte B.

Several people from my office together bought several meals for a coworker who had just had major surgery. She was so excited when the delivery came and said that it was the perfect gift since she was unable to prepare healthy food herself right now. I look forward to using again!

I’m happy to see such diversity in our customers.
