How to Have the Best Thanksgiving Ever

How to Have the Best Thanksgiving Ever

Perhaps the subtitle to this post should be, “By Preventing All in Attendance from Discussing Politics, Religion or anything COVID related.” Because, you know, that can lead to arguments, crying, yelling, the throwing of turkey and/or broccoli casserole, the disowning of family members and the end of decades long friendships. While we here at MagicKitchen.com cannot help with the topics discussed at your Thanksgiving gathering, we certainly have other ways to make your Thanksgiving the best one ever.

As my college economics professor told me back in 1984, “Time is money.” I have a sneaking suspicion he might have borrowed this phrase from someone else. Regardless, I have amended it to, “Time is invaluable.” since I have trouble placing a monetary value on my time, or your time for that matter. You can see where I’m going with this, can’t you?

Exactly…MagicKitchen.com can save you invaluable time this Thanksgiving by preparing, cooking and delivering your entire Thanksgiving dinner to your home, supply chain issues be damned! Pick a package for a crowd, a smaller dinner for two or four, or one of our non-traditional packages like a Tex-Mex dinner or an Italian feast. We even have a portion controlled turkey or ham dinner for one! (Coming soon)

Our professionally trained chefs at MagicKitchen.com hand-select the ingredients that will go into your meal (also known as “shopping”). They then do all the prep work (also known as chopping, mincing, mixing and saucing). Finally, they cook the entire meal to exacting standards.

Your meal is then flash-frozen for ultimate freshness, packed in dry ice and then shipped to your door prior to November 25th; Thanksgiving Day, for those who haven’t looked that far ahead. But you do need to look that far ahead if you plan on availing yourself of our services as your invaluable time is running out to pre-order your meal to ensure delivery prior to Thanksgiving.

If you do decide to avail yourself of our services, think of all the time you’ll save. You won’t have to spend time in the grocery store searching for obscure ingredients, the perfect bird and your brother’s favorite side dish. Next, you’ll save time by avoiding all the prep work such as putting together the green bean casserole, stuffing the turkey, and prepping all the side dishes. Finally, you’ll save time by not having to cook a thing. All that’s required of you is to place your pre-cooked meal in the microwave or warm it up in or on the stove.

The next obvious question then is, “What will you do with all that free time?” (Why is it referred to as “free” time when my economics professor always told me “Time is money?” Just one of life’s little mysteries). Here are a few suggestions:

  • Spend time with your friends and family rather than secluded in the kitchen.
  • Join the kids on the PS5 and try to figure out the allure of Mine Craft.
  • Discuss vaccine issues with…wait, scratch that. Bad idea.
  • Leash the dog and take a walk with little seen family members.
  • Grab some beers, chips and watch some pre-dinner football while you get to bonding with the family.
  • Head out and run a pre-dinner Turkey Trot 5K, or at least rooton those who are.
  • Create your holiday gift list.
  • Plan out your ultimate Black Friday shopping route.
  • Binge watch Squid Game…just keep the kids out of the room or, better yet, just go with Harry Potter.
  • Sit back, relax and revel in the warmth and glow of friends and family.
