Thanksgiving is Coming…Are you Ready?

Thanksgiving is Coming…Are you Ready?

Like yet another “remastered” Beatles’ album, it’s coming.  Like joint pain, it’s coming.  Like bad risotto, a bad relationship and bad superhero movies, it’s coming.  Of course, as the title of this post implies, I refer to that joyous fourth Thursday in November we now, thanks to President Lincoln, call Thanksgiving.

However, the familiest of family holidays does not have to be looked on in the same manner as joint pain or a bad superhero movie.  It’s time to view your Thanksgiving preparations with less trepidation and dread and more with, dare I say, peace-of-mind.  And Magic Kitchen is here to provide that peace-of-mind for you.

Yes, I know it’s only mid-October, but as my opening paragraph makes plain, Thanksgiving is, like Thanos (bad superhero reference), inevitable and it’s time to prepare.  Look, between relatives on different sides of the political spectrum to where to have everyone park, Thanksgiving can be hectic holiday to prepare for.  Throw in meal planning, shopping, meal prep, cooking and serving and Thanksgiving can become downright depressing to contemplate.

While Magic Kitchen can’t help you with your family’s political issues or less than adequate driveway, we can help you with your meal preparations.  Heck, we can prepare, cook, and deliver it to your door.  How’s that for a Thanksgiving stress reducer?

From soup (tomato basil bisque or broccoli, mushroom and zucchini) to nut…oh wait, we don’t offer nuts, but we do have plenty of desserts (apple crumb, peach and pecan pies; tiramisu, and Irish whiskey cheesecake…why are the Irish always paired with alcohol?  Just asking), Magic Kitchen has your Thanksgiving meal covered.  We’ll locate the most tender turkey breast and use the freshest ingredients for your mashed and sweet potatoes, whole grain rolls, apples and sage stuffing, haluski kapusta and turkey gravy.  Our chefs will then cook it all to perfection.

Next, your meal will be flash frozen to ensure it’s as fresh as possible.  Your Thanksgiving meal will then be packed in dry ice and shipped right to your door.  All that’s required of you is to place your meal in your freezer until it’s needed Thanksgiving Day.  Then, simply reheat and serve on your elegant dining room table in your elegant home that you had more than enough time to decorate and clean because you didn’t have to prepare for and cook the big meal.

Not having to prepare or cook the Thanksgiving meal also allows you to sleep in, run in a local turkey trot, take a long shower, enjoy a cup of coffee, spend time with your guests, watch some football, write a short story or blog post (scratch the blog post, only losers write those), play some Jenga with the kids, or engage in a spirited political discussion with your liberal/conservative sister-in-law…good luck with that.

Regardless, you get the whole point of this post, right?  Start planning now for Thanksgiving (it is, after all, coming) but that planning should NOT include plans to prepare and cook the meal.  Let us here at Magic Kitchen take care of that for you and you spend that saved time in the manner that makes you happiest, whether that includes Jenga or not is entirely up to you.

Meals arrive on November 1, please mark your calendars!
