The 10 Best Spring Meals on our Menu

OK, you’ve got to admit that rarely do I extol the virtues of our chef inspired and created meals very often on this blog. In fact, I can’t remember the last time I wrote specifically about the delicious and affordable meals MagicKitchen.com offers.

I have spent the past few months offering tips on diet, nutrition, physical activity (otherwise known as exercise) and overall well-being. However, there are times when we feel its beneficial for all involved to let our readers know about what we have to offer here at MagicKitchen.com, and this is one of those times. With spring just weeks away, we thought we’d share some of our favorite springtime meals with you.

As with all our meals, they are conceived and created by our  chefs with the freshest ingredients possible. They are then cooked to perfection, flash-frozen to lock in freshness and shipped straight to your door. You can then place them in your freezer and enjoy them at your convenience. Of course, you probably knew all this already, right? Anyway, on to the list…

Cashew Chicken Stir fry.
Straight from our Magic Skillets menu, this savory meal combines crisp veggies (white and green onions, red pepper and zucchini), crunchy cashews and tender chicken with an Asian-inspired sauce. The only thing missing are those unique Chinese take-out containers.

Crustless Spinach Quiche.
With just seven ingredients, this light and fluffy quiche cuts carbs by going crustless with no sacrifice in taste. It’s perfect for any spring meal, to include breakfast while watching the sun rise from the back deck.

Spinach Mushroom Lasagna with Light Pesto Sauce.
This meatless lasagna is a lighter take on a traditional Italian classic and one of our best-selling meals. Our lasagna noodles are homemade and layered with mushrooms, spinach and two cheeses. Delizioso!

Vegetable Stew.
Made with garden-fresh veggies in an olive oil-based sauce, this stew is known for its hearty flavor yet low calorie content. The tomatoes are fire-roasted, the onions are yellow, the peppers are red, and the taste is to die for.

Surf and Turf Fried Rice.
Who doesn’t love beef brisket, succulent chicken and plump shrimp tossed in fried rice and seasoned with smoked paprika, green onions and soy sauce? Zombies, that’s who.

Pork Burnt Ends in BBQ Sauce.
Made from the tips of pork brisket, we refer to our pork burnt ends as “nuggets of barbecue gold,” and for good reason. They are cooked to perfection (nothing is “burnt” at MagicKitchen.com) and then lightly covered in our signature KC BBQ sauce.

Lobster Tortellini in Tarragon Pink Sauce.
Be the first to try one of the newest editions to our menu. Our tortellini noodles are stuffed full of melt-in-your-mouth lobster meat and covered in a creamy, pink tarragon sauce. Pasta night has just been re-defined.

Baby Clams with Linguini Marinara.
As you eat this delicious dish, you’ll swear you were the one who went clamming on the shores of the cape at low tide, then made the linguini noodles and picked the tomatoes to make the marinara sauce. It tastes that fresh. (Order now, in stock March 11)

Shrimp Scampi.
Shrimp, butter, cream and garlic; a simple meal with a complex taste. This meal is guaranteed to satisfy the seafood lover in all of us. This buttery, garlicky shrimp dish is decadent and heavenly. Serve over pasta or with crusty bread for dipping.

Chicken and Artichoke with Spinach.
The title of this meal does not do it justice. We take tender chicken breast and wrap it around a filling of artichoke, spinach, two cheeses and cream. The filling then spills out to be enjoyed with each bite of chicken. You’ll think you’re in culinary heaven!
